ADP Selects IntelliNetsm IP Video Conferencing Network
World’s Largest Payroll Outsourcing Company
Hauppauge, NY - April 29, 2002 - International Video-Conferencing, Inc.
(IVCi), (www.ivci.com), ranked 81 on the
Inc 500 list of the nation’s fastest growing privately-held companies for 2001, today
announced that Automatic Data Processing (ADP), (NYSE:ADP), has selected IntelliNet* as their IP video
conferencing solution in the United States. IntelliNet’s revolutionary service provides organizations with
unlimited, high quality, and secure video conferencing between their worldwide office locations.
“IntelliNet helps organizations get the most from their investment in visual-collaboration technologies,”
reports Adam Zeitsiff, Chief Executive Officer of IVCi. “The combination of IntelliNet’s robust data network,
award winning scheduling package and integrated management system will significantly enhance the effectiveness and
manageability of ADP’s video conferencing environment.”
ADP’s diverse service offering includes providing paychecks for more than 30 million workers worldwide,
processing securities transactions for clients in 25 countries, delivering computing solutions to 16,000 auto/truck
dealers, and doing over 14 million auto damage claim estimates annually. For more than 10 years, ADP has
used video conferencing to improve their internal communications. However, like many organizations, ADP’s
video conferencing was difficult to manage and somewhat unreliable. ADP’s Cathy Boswick, Director of
Strategic Telecom Planning, explains, “Video conferencing is a wonderful business tool, but has been plagued
by quality, usability and reliability issues for far too long. Deploying IntelliNet will help us resolve these longstanding
problems and will make video conferencing more cost-effective for our organization.”
The unmatched performance and reliability offered by IntelliNet is the result of a global integration with the
SAVVIS Communications (NASDAQ: SVVS) Intelligent IP Network**, which is a single global IP network that provides
uniform performance worldwide. It enables IntelliNet to deliver the security and performance of a private network
with the flexibility and cost effectiveness of the Internet. Some of the key benefits and
differentiators of the IntelliNet solution include:
- A switched (not routed) ATM network in 46 countries delivering high-quality IP services suitable for video
traffic
- A fixed cost, unlimited use program for every IntelliNet video network package
- 6-FREE hours of multi-point bridging included each month with every IntelliNet package
- Web-scheduling and auto call launching with the award-winning GSS
- An industry-leading management engine that provides real-time end-point and network confidence checking
- Unlimited access to IntelliNet’s ISDN gateways
- Flexibility that allows customers to use their own video bridges and/or ISDN gateways
- Full project management to deliver a turnkey solution
ADP plans to launch the IntelliNet service in the United States toward the end of Q2 2002 and
expects to activate between 30 and 60 locations within the next six to nine months.
